Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Developer at Sinfolix Technologies in Nagpur. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress websites for our clients. The role involves working closely with UI/UX designers and project managers to implement responsive, SEO-optimized, and performance-driven websites that align with client goals.

You will handle everything from plugin customization and theme development to site integrations and technical troubleshooting. A deep understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress architecture is essential to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications for WordPress Developer

  • Education & Background
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field (preferred)
  2. Proven experience in WordPress development (minimum 1–3 years for junior, 3–5+ years for senior roles)
  • Technical Skills

  1. Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins

  2. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL

  3. Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or other page builders

  4. Familiarity with REST APIs, WooCommerce, and custom post types

  5. Experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins

  6. Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices

  7. Comfortable with version control tools like Git

  • Soft Skills

  1. Problem-solving and debugging skills

  2. Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  3. Good communication and documentation skills

  4. Willingness to learn and stay updated with WordPress trends
